"Homesickness. A term which we are all deeply familiar with and at times
are powerless to remedy. I would like to eat my homesickness away with
food from home, which is mostly wishful thinking in a country that does
not stock any ingredients from my native South Africa. Then one sunny day
I walked into "Kuchnie Swiata" to discover that they stocked food from
home (and many other people's homes).
With a large selection of African, Asian,
Greek and Japanese (to only name a few) food and ingredients, I can happily
spend hours in the shop between the shelves loading the basket that I got
at the door with the cure for my own homesickness and planning exotic meals
with the many different cuisines to choose from."
